Frequently Asked Questions
Question#1: Is there a differences between natural skin care products & mainstream skin care products?
Answer: Many mainstream products contain ingredients that might potentailly have unknown effects on our health. Using natural skin care products will benefit your own health & the environment. The natural skin care products lines we sell at BTrue Naturals only contain ingredients that are natural, safe and effective. More on Natural Skin Care.

Answer: Yes the ingredients used in natural skin care products can benifit our bodies, the ingredients and benefits of the products we sell are listed on our ingredients page.

Question #3: Do natural skin care products & organic cosmetics have a shelf life?
Answer: Yes most natural organic products do have a shelf life of around 18 months, such as essential oils and honey, other products such as soaps can be shelf-stable for decades.

Question #4: What does it mean if a product states to be organic?
Answer: There is no regulation on the word "organic" in the cosmetic industry. It is truly organic if the USDA Certified Organic seal is on it. This means 95% of the ingredients are certified organic. But be careful, just because it states it is organic doesn't make it safe. The only way to be sure is to look at each individual ingredient. Buying products that are USDA Organic are much safer and tend to be the more natural skin care products on the market.

Question #5: Are your products tested on animals?

Answer: At BTrue Naturals we support non-animal testing methods, we look for companies with products that haven't been tested on animals. We also support funding toward animal testing alternatives research.
